About ELLIS

ELLIS has been the leader in English Learning market for sixteen years. This learning material which was founded by Dr. Frank Otto in 1990 is used in over 58 countries such as USA, England, China, and Mexico since then. ELLIS also proved the achievement with the awards it has taken for the contributions to education sector since 1998. ELLIS was acquired by Pearson Group, which is the leader in Education Sector in the world with portfolio of 20 million learners each year, in June 2006.

According to the computer and research-based studies ELLIS leads an integrated and comprehensive education philosophy. Depending on this, mission of the ELLIS is to empower children and adults for acquisition of the language.

ELLIS gives students a complete language acquisition by means of listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and communication and writing skills. ELLIS developed on the basis of “watch – learn – practice - play” methodology. This process provides the continuance of the knowledge.

ELLIS is divided to units and the lessons in every level. At the end of each lesson there are games and tests. There are also voice recording feature to provide the exact pronunciation with the chance of trying again and again.
