With over 1,300 hours of instruction, ELLIS Academic is the perfect solution for the diverse needs of students. The optional Native Language Support in Turkish translates lesson instructions, phrases from video sequences and new vocabulary words. This functionality is slowly reduced as students gain target language independence and adds student autonomy to the learning process.

• ELLIS Academic placement tools will allow you to easily gauge each student’s current English proficiency and will recommend a placement within the four ELLIS Academic Modules.
• Technology-driven content delivery will allow each student to self-pace through the modules to ensure mastery of skill objectives as he or she moves toward target language independence.

Watch–Learn–Practice–Play/Perform

Following the natural pattern of language acquisition, the Watch–Learn–Practice–Play/Perform instructional methodology was developed for the ELLIS courseware. In following this method across specific learning objectives, English language learners can immediately gain usable language skills and start on the path to fluency.
